In what was one of the most hectic, but also exciting week’s at YBA for me, is finally over. We welcomed in new kids to the program like Luca and Courtney, and said goodbye to Kunal who is moving to California. Kunal is a great kid that’s fun to be around and we’ll all sincerely miss him, but also look forward to him skyping in.

Things that were never even imaginable have all come to life within the past 5 days. On Monday, I had the chance of a lifetime to talk with sports legends such as Bobby Orr and Ken Hodge and iconic figures Mark Herzlich and Tedy Bruschi.

On Tuesday, YBA broke barriers by raising the bar to a whole new level by running a news program called “YBA Today”, in which there was a news segment, sports segment, weather segment and a YBA reporter out in the field interviewing people on the streets. What made this so amazing, we did it all live on the Internet. On Wednesday, YBA today only got better. Everyone behind the scenes and on the set dramatically improved and the final result was a much better looking show. On Thursday, we had technically difficulties, but in the end we all helped out to make another successful show! Finally, on Friday, we got a pleasant visit from four time Emmy Award Winner, Jimmy Myers. Jimmy helped everyone bring out the personality within ourselves to make the best show of the week. We also included a segment of the show in which we got to speak with Jimmy Young, Jonathan, and Zach from Camp Bauercrest. At YBA, we are always striving to do something that hasn’t been done before, and this week will truly go down in YBA history as one of the most successful weeks ever!
