ARAMARK Education launches wellness.

Obesity and poor health is rampant inside our country and our children are particularly at risk. Given the amount of children ARAMARK touches each day, this issue has shifted to the forefront of our objective, stated Dennis Maple, President of ARAMARK Education. As part of Healthy for Life, school menus includes more fresh fruits and vegetables, wholegrains, lean protein choices, low and non-fat dairy options, 100 % fruit juice and water. ARAMARK continues to reduce added fats, sugar and salt; eliminate added trans fats; offer healthy, nutrient-dense snacks; source high quality, local products and produce; and promote and increase the availability of breakfast.
